Celebrate the very best of America’s Top Pop music with Matt Davenport Productions’ acclaimed show, American Jukebox! This colorful, high-energy spectacular is a 2-hour full-length version of the original 30-minute piece that dazzled audiences for 10 years at premiere entertainment park, Busch Gardens Williamsburg.

A live 6-piece band rocks the house in 50’s, Motown, Disco, Country and Blues styles, as a cast of 6 incredible singer/dancers make the enormous center-stage jukebox come alive with lights and sound! Featuring mega-hit songs like “Whole Lotta Shakin’,” “Respect,” “Soulman,” and “Boogie Wonderland,” American Jukebox is a vigorous trip down America’s favorite musical lanes!

Matt Davenport: Writer/Director

Matt has written and directed numerous original stage shows, including The American Pride show in Myrtle Beach, SC, which won “Show of the Year” honors in its debut season, and the #1 rated American Jukebox, which helped garner Amusement parks “Best Shows” award for Busch Gardens, Williamsburg. He was also the creative force behind his company’s national tours of The Tennessee Waltz, Birth of the Beat, Ropin’ the West, and American Rhapsody, which was part of the International Gershwin Centennial Celebration. Matt has produced and directed several productions of the off-Broadway hit, Always… Patsy Cline, as well as a successful production of Forever Plaid at the Empire Theatre in San Antonio, Texas. His original production Country Tonite in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee was awarded “Show of the Year” from 2001-2005 by the North American Country Music Association. His most recent touring shows, American Big Band and One Enchanted Evening, have received rave reviews from audiences and critics alike. Matt is also the Owner/Chief Manager of Live On Stage, Inc.
