Student Outreach

Since the fall of 2000 over 14,000 students have sung, laughed, cheered, clapped and stomped their feet for the twenty six Shasta Community Concert Association attractions that presented outreach concerts. Our generous patrons have given over $36,000 toward our efforts to enrich music appreciation education for north state children.

While celebrating 70 years as an important affordable cultural organization, SCCA will provide a free outreach event for all six concerts during our 2007/2008 season. The extra artists' fees will total almost $6,000. We also need additional funds for the increased costs of extra hours for stage crews, sound and lighting technicians and extra catering.
